Each of the programs listed below offer coursework that will satisfy the requirements needed to earn a 2-year AA degree in Fire Science or Fire Technology. Miramar and Palomar College both offer a Basic Fire Academy, but only Palomar will issue candidates a Firefighter I certificate after graduation.
